NRNA Portugal provides support and coordination services for the repatriation of deceased Nepali citizens to Nepal, in coordination with families, funeral service providers, relevant authorities, the Embassy of Nepal, and other concerned organizations. Our support includes documentation and administrative coordination, funeral arrangements, transportation, repatriation procedures, and communication with the concerned authorities and family members.
We aim to provide timely, compassionate, transparent, and professional support to families during difficult circumstances.
We bring together Nepali communities from diverse cultural, ethnic, indigenous and religious backgrounds to celebrate festivals and strengthen community unity. We organize and support national, cultural, indigenous and religious festivals, providing opportunities for Nepalis to share their traditions, customs, languages, music, dance and cultural heritage.
Through these gatherings and cultural exchange programmes, we promote mutual respect, harmony and understanding among all Nepali communities while preserving and promoting Nepal’s rich multicultural identity in Portugal. We also organize charity events, cultural programmes and fundraising shows to support humanitarian and educational causes. Through these initiatives, we contribute to charitable activities in Nepal, including providing educational support and assistance to orphaned and underprivileged children and families, helping create better opportunities for their future. Our goal is to celebrate Nepal’s diversity, strengthen community solidarity, preserve our cultural heritage and contribute meaningfully to society both in Portugal and Nepal.
We assist with university admissions and educational opportunities, including coordinating with universities, teachers, and other educational institutions to support students throughout the admissions process.
We also help coordinate access to free or affordable certified Portuguese language courses at A1 and A2 levels, designed to support eligibility requirements for permanent residency and Portuguese citizenship, while also improving communication skills and expanding employment opportunities.
We promote women’s wellbeing, youth development, sports, leadership, and entrepreneurship through community forums, sports tournaments, networking, and empowerment initiatives.
