Project Overview & Objectives

Nepal Festival Lisbon is the largest celebration of Nepali cultural heritage in Southern Europe. Hosted annually in central Lisbon, the festival brings together the diaspora and international visitors.

The festival features authentic culinary pavilions, live folk music by legendary artists from Nepal, classical traditional dance showcases representing diverse ethnic traditions, and tourism promotion pavilions showcasing Everest, Annapurna, and Lumbini.

Key Project Deliverables

30+ authentic traditional food stalls and commercial handicraft vendor booths.
10-hour non-stop cultural main-stage performance with visiting musical bands from Nepal.
Nepal Tourism & Investment Pavilion organized in collaboration with Portugal-Nepal Friendship Society.
Grand public peace rally showcasing traditional costumes of Newar, Gurung, Tamang, Magar, Rai, and Tharu communities.
